National Shrine of The Divine Mercy
Important Pilgrimage General Information
"Pilgrimage is a joyous community experience that leads one before the Lord, to seek His face, to experience the joy of His house." (Pope John Paul II)
Groups coming by bus/motor coach:
You must verify space availability for the date you wish to visit the Shrine by calling the pilgrimage office before you send your registration at 413-298-3931 or pilgrims@marian.org.
Whenever possible, your schedule can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the group. However, we ask that you join in the existing daily Mass and Prayer schedule, especially if you do not have a priest accompanying the group. If your pilgrimage group speaks only a language other then English you must arrange for a Priest or translator to accompany your group.
Food
We do not have a cafeteria or restaurant available on Eden Hill. We do have a beverage and snack machines. You may bring your own lunch or you may order box lunches ($8.00 per lunch) prepared by a local restaurant. Arrangements for box lunches must be made by contacting the pilgrimage office (Tel: 413-298-1118 - Fax: 413-298-1398) or by ordering lunches on the registration form. Final head count must be made at least one week in advance of your pilgrimage. There are limited indoor and sheltered outdoor dining spaces. Lunch orders may not be cancelled, changed or refunded within 1 week of your arrival date.
Accessibility
The Shrine Chapel, restrooms and gift shop are handicap accessible and an elevator is available. Many areas on Eden Hill require walking on paved or unpaved surfaces and at some distances. Comfortable shoes are recommended and please notify our staff in advance if anyone in your group has special needs or requires assistance. We have a multi passenger golf cart and driver to shuttle those pilgrims with special needs.
