The National Shrine of The Divine Mercy

Welcome to the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy web pages. Here you will find information and news to plan your pilgrimage to the National Shrine. Every day, pilgrims can experience the Lord's mercy through these opportunities:

  • Holy Mass
  • Confession
  • Rosary
  • Adoration and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament
  • Blessing of religious articles
  • A blessing with a first-class relic of St. Faustina
  • The chaplet of Divine Mercy.

The Shrine is also a place to come to celebrate the liturgical season with us. We have numerous liturgical events and celebrations planned throughout the year. They include:

  • Divine Mercy Sunday (April 11)
  • Marian Week (Aug. 15-22)
  • Encuentro Latino ("Spanish Day"- Aug. 21)
  • Ethnic days
  • Monthly healing Masses
  • Novenas, retreats and other feast days.

Please check our 2009 liturgical calendar for more information.

If you would like to arrange a group pilgrimage to the Shrine, please call our pilgrimage office at (413) 298-1118 or (413) 298-1322 or e-mail us at pilgrims@marian.org. We also have guest rooms available at our John Paul II Guest House for overnight accommodations. To make a reservation, please call the receptionist office at (413) 298-3931 or email us at shrine@marian.org

Would you like to become a special part of the Shrine family? We have memorial opportunities for you and your loved ones. In appreciation, we remember every person who is memorialized, whether living or deceased, in our daily Rosaries, chaplets, prayers, and Masses.

Our biggest project is the completion of "The Mother of Mercy Outdoor Shrine." Within it will be the Shrine of the Holy Innocents, a memorial shrine to honor all deceased children. The children's names will appear on a wall of etched glass tiles for all to see. This memorial shrine will bring comfort, healing, and mercy to those who have lost a little one through miscarriage, abortion, or at an early age. Please consider making a contribution to the Mother of Mercy Shrine or memorializing a child in the Shrine of the Holy Innocents.

May God bless you on your journey toward Eternal Life.

Yours in Christ Jesus & Mary,

Fr. Anthony Gramlich, MIC
Shrine Rector

P.S. You can receive email updates from the Marians at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy. You'll get announcements about special events, novenas at the Shrine, and more.
