Divine Mercy devotees from Holy Cross Church in Burnaby, British Columbia, have established a Eucharistic Apostles of The Divine Mercy cenacle. Twelve enthusiastic members established the cenacle on Sept. 12, 2009.

The cenacle meets every Saturday morning after the 9 a.m. Mass. We are now at our second lesson in Formation Manual One, and everyone seems to be interested and looking forward to the next week's meeting.

At our last meeting we had the pleasure of the Most Rev. Bishop Antonisamy Francis, of the Diocese of Kumbakonam, India, and Fr. M.S. Selva Raj attending our cenacle meeting. They were impressed how the meeting was conducted; Bishop Francis and Fr. Selva liked the format of the cenacle. They said it is "informal" and "very informative."

They said they would like to start an EADM cenacle in Kumbakonum when they get back to India. Bishop Francis asked for a Cenacle Formation Manual to bring back with him. I gave him the complete set of three manuals for his use.

Wouldn't that be great to add another EADM cenacle to our list!

We are so honored and privileged that we have started an EADM cenacle. Note above a photo taken with Dr. Bryan Thatcher, founder of EADM, at the Day of Recollection on Sept. 12. It was a beautiful spiritual day, and more than 200 people from various churches attended.

Please pray for us that, week after week, we return for more teaching of the EADM cenacle.
