Saint Cajetan (1480-1547), the founder of the Theatine Order, was an early promoter of the Blue Scapular, which has since become a sacramental near and dear to the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception.

Those who wear the Blue Scapular declare solemnly to avoid sin and to live in union with God, with Mary Immaculate as their model.

But this is not all that St. Cajetan is known for.

hey, something blue! - Feb 5, 2015

"something old/
something new/
something borrowed/
something BLUE!"

I think you guys could increase your Blue Scapular distribution if we invites the faithful Immaculate-Conception-fan Catholic brides-2-be Divine Mercy devotees to wear this for their wedding (and beyond) ... :) It could be old and blue, or new and blue, or even borrowed and blue; it's definitely blue though :) good call!
