Help Inspire Others!

By Fr. Joseph, MIC (Oct. 29, 2015)

Jesus said, "I demand from you deeds of mercy, which are to arise out of love for Me" (Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, 742).

Do you know someone who is making a difference - big or small - in the lives of others? Have you witnessed inspiring works of mercy? Let us know! And help to inspire others!

Pope Francis is calling upon the faithful to "reawaken our conscience" through engaging in works of mercy this upcoming extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy, which begins Dec. 8.

That said, the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, are holding a Works of Mercy Contest.

The First Place winner and a guest will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge. Their visit will include:

• Accommodations for a three-night stay at the National Shrine;
• lunch with Fr. Joseph, MIC; and
• a personal tour of the Shrine by the Shrine rector.

Three runners-up will receive a copy of the Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, our "Jubilee Year Pack," and The Second Greatest Story Ever Told, by Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC.
