An Answer to My Prayers!

My son Austin was born a month early. He was only five pounds. He was the most precious little thing that his father and I have ever seen.

Several weeks after his birth, Austin got very ill and was hospitalized with severe asthma. When he turned 1, we found out the cause. His lungs had not formed properly. That's when we really started to pray.

Austin had to take many forms of medication, including a steroid that caused him to have osteoporosis. I knew God knew what He was doing, and He gave me so much strength to do what I needed to do for Austin.

Today, Austin is 10 years old. He has been undergoing treatment in which he receives three shots every two weeks on his stomach and on his arm, along with other medication. Thanks to God, the prayers from me and our community have been answered. Austin has been cured of osteoporosis!

He is still ill, however, and I ask you all for your prayers. I have trust in the Lord, and I know it was He who cured Austin's osteoporosis. And I know Our Merciful Lord will cure Austin's lungs, too, so that Austin can breathe better and enjoy sports and other activities that he is unable to participate in presently.

Thank you for your prayers!
