Don't Fear, Don't Fear, Don't Fear ...

Turn to any page of St. Faustina’s Diary, and you’ll find spiritual gems. Like these.

Forty-eight times in St. Faustina’s Diary, Jesus tells her not to be afraid. That’s right. I counted.

Fear is one of the enemy’s greatest tools. More than anything else, Jesus needs us to turn from fear and to trust Him. That’s why every Divine Mercy Image is inscribed with the message “Jesus, I trust in You.”

I know it can be difficult to do. But there’s no task more important than offering Christ our worries and trusting that despite how things may seem, He has everything under control.

One sure way to fall into fear? Fighting against God’s will for us. We need to surrender to God, to whatever Divine Providence has allowed in our lives, and trust that He is going to use our circumstances, even the most difficult, for our good.

Here are all 48 quotes from Jesus from the Diary about fear:

If all Marian devotion culminates in imitation of Mary, says Br. Jacob, MIC, then we could also say that all imitation of Mary culminates in imitating her standing at the foot of the Cross.

The Resurrection reveals that Jesus has the power to crush all the stones of our imperfections, taking away all that blinds us to His presence in our daily lives. He desires, in Holy Communion, to come and remove every hard stone from your heart.

Jesus said, "Today bring to Me ALL MANKIND, ESPECIALLY ALL SINNERS, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. In this way you will console Me in the bitter grief into which the loss of souls plunges Me."
