Susan Dela Rosa wrote and told us: "See attached new EADM Toronto group photo with our new spiritual director, Fr. Mario Salvadori. Back in 2004, we had five people. Now look at us today! EADM Toronto is involved in our parish, St. Joseph the Worker Parish, at Wade Gate, Thornhill, Ontario Canada.

"Everyone looks forward to our weekly Saturday cenacle prayer meetings. New members keep joining — from kids, teens, to adults. It is truly the power of The Divine Mercy that keep us going and gives us the strength to proclaim His message.

"This year we are looking forward for the celebration of the Feast of Divine Mercy. Last year, we did the nine-day novena in our parish, and then we celebrated Divine Mercy Sunday with Mass, a procession, exposition, reflection, and a reception. This year we want to create more flyers and have a massive campaign so more people can know about this devotion.

"Once a year our group sponsors a weekend retreat for adults, Catholic Life Spirit Seminar, and a youth encounter weekend. We get our funds from our annual EADM celebration. We are able also to support a small shrine of The Divine Mercy in the Philippines through their "feeding program for the poor children," and some members help support kids in their education through the Passionist Sisters in the Philippines.

"We are so blessed to have a 'Praise Ministry,' headed by my brother, Don Martinez, with his daughter, Diana, now 17, who plays piano; our drummer, Kristine, now 14 years old; Kathleen, the base guitarist, 17; guitarist Julie, 15; Kevin, 19, just came aboard on his own; Mark, 16, one of the new guitarist; plus two adults, Mario and Don. Clariza is our flute player, and her brother, Daniel, the violin player. Tessa is the trumpet player. So, you can imagine a symphony every Sunday when we are the choir at our 12:30 p.m. Mass! We are evangelizing our parishioners through our music!

"I almost forgot, we also have a once-a-year pilgrimage to the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Mass. This year it's scheduled for the weekend of June 6-7, and I have made an arrangement for our early mass at 8:30 a.m. I do thank The Divine Mercy for Bryan Thatcher's testimony, which I read in Marian Helper magazine. If not for that magazine, I don't think I would have started our EADM Toronto."
