MOMM without borders

Mother of Mercy Messengers (MOMM), a lay outreach of the Congregation of Marians of the Immaculate Conception, now has the ability to greatly lighten its load and take flight. That is to say, MOMM can now take its show overseas.

If Gabby could meet anyone at all

Make no mistake: When Mother of Mercy Messengers (MOMM) gives its multimedia presentation about God's mercy and St. Faustina, the results can be profound.

For proof, consider Gabby Rundall, an 11-year-old from Saline, Michigan.

After MOMM gave a series of presentations at her parish (St. Andrew's), in March, Gabby felt so inspired that she entered an essay contest in her community. The topic was, "Which famous woman would you choose to spend the day with, and what would you do on this special day with this famous woman?"

Divine Mercy for Young Hearts

Above the title of the new Divine Mercy for Young Hearts video, there is a caption that reads, "A Captivating Lesson in the Catholic Faith." A more accurate description could hardly be imagined, as this slender one-hour presentation at St. Adalbert Catholic School in Enfield, Connecticut, succeeds not only in introducing the message of Divine Mercy, but also serves as a rich lesson in Scripture and the Catechism.

Devotion Promotion

Devotion to Jesus, The Divine Mercy, in the forms given through St. Faustina, continues to grow in a number of ways throughout the United States and the world. St. Faustina's promise to draw aside the veil and help us realize the truth of the message is being lived out through the work of many. Some may simply hand out cards with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy on them and teach others about the message, while others organize special events in their parishes. Some may even buy copies of the Diary of St. Faustina to give to people they know who may have an interest in reading it.

MOMM Tapes New Stations of the Cross Program

Joan and Dave Maroney of the Mother of Mercy Messengers (MOMM) recently completed primary taping of a new "Stations of the Cross" video/DVD at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, MA. Patterned after the Marian Press' popular "St. Faustina's Way of the Cross" booklet, the program will feature meditations and prayers based on Holy Scripture and St. Faustina's Diary.

Can we Stay and Pray?

this prayer group from St. Ann School in Hornell, NY, raised money to help Mother of Mercy Messengers (MOMM) bring the Divine Mercy message to the parish.

Joan and Dave Maroney know how much influence children can have in invigorating the faith of a parish.

That's one reason why this couple known as "Mother of Mercy Messengers" (MOMM) usually makes presentations to a parish's youngest members first.

The kids are so beautiful," says Joan. "After they see us, they bring the message home, and they get mom and dad to come to the parish presentation."
