Discovering the Diary

"Today I saw the Crucified Lord Jesus. Precious pearls and diamonds were pouring forth from the wound in His Heart. I saw how a multitude of souls was gathering these gifts, but there was one soul who was closest to His Heart and she, knowing the greatness of these gifts, was gathering them with liberality, not only for herself, but for others as well. The Savior said to me, Behold, the treasures of grace that flow down upon souls, but not all souls know how to take advantage of My generosity" (1687).

Often, we find ourselves feeling as though God never seems to deliver. We start thinking that He's not generous and takes more than He gives.

But this is not true.

No one can outdo God in generosity. As Jesus says in this passage, treasures of graces flow down upon souls. He wants to do more than sustain the breath in our lungs and the beating of our hearts. He wants us to experience constant, flowing treasures of graces.

But He gives to us the diamonds and jewels of His creation - not ours. Like a divine jeweler, He knows better than us.

Anytime we find ourselves doubting His generosity, it's not because He's not being generous. It's because as fallen, wounded, even selfish human beings, we struggle to see the truth.

How do we become like the one soul mentioned in this passage who knows how to receive His treasures?

Jesus says to us today: Dare to seek My will above all else. No matter the height of your suffering, no matter the depth of your sins, you can trust Me. Submit to the fire of My purgative love, and I will give you more than you can possibly imagine.

My Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I give my entire life to you today. Every moment of the day, let me glorify Your unending goodness. Forgive me of all my sins. I hand over to you today all my suffering, all my fears, and I trust that in Your Divine Mercy you will teach me how to receive Your immeasurable graces. Amen

One sister said to me, “Get ready, Sister, to receive a small cross at the hands of Mother Superior. I feel sorry for you.” But as for me, I rejoiced at this in the depths of my soul.
