Divine Mercy Conference Poses a Challenge to the Faithful

Hundreds gathered in Bronx, New York, on Saturday for the 14th Annual Divine Mercy Conference, which featured one of the most talked about Catholics in America today: former Planned Parenthood clinic director turned pro-life activist Abby Johnson.

Co-sponsored by the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception and the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, the conference addressed some of the most pressing issues the Church faces today.

13th Annual Divine Mercy Conference

Before taking the stage at the 13th Annual Divine Mercy Conference this past Saturday, Christopher West, the most well-known teacher of St. Pope John Paul II's popular theology of the body, explained how his devotion to the Divine Mercy Chaplet charted the direction for his relationship with his wife, Wendy, starting from their very first date.

West discovered the Pope's novel teaching on human sexuality in the midst of a reversion to his Catholic faith in the early 1990s.

Bronx Divine Mercy Conference - 2017

The 2017 Bronx Divine Mercy Conference "The Message of Fatima and Divine Mercy: Refuge for Sinners," held at Cardinal Spellman High School in Bronx, New York, welcomed more than 600 pilgrims from the New York and New England areas, as well as a special guest - the UN Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima.
