Be Transformed: Divine Mercy Buffalo 2016

Nearly 1,000 people gathered in Our Lady of Victory Basilica in Lackawanna, New York, on Saturday, Aug. 27, for the "Be Transformed" Divine Mercy Buffalo Conference.

The morning began with Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, director of the Association of Marian Helpers, speaking on "Divine Mercy 101" and explaining the essence of the Divine Mercy message.

To Jesus through Mary

On the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, more than 600 people filled the Basilica of Our Lady of Victory in Lackawanna, N.Y., to attend the third Divine Mercy Conference in Buffalo held on Saturday, Sept. 15.

This year's theme was "Drawing Closer to Jesus through Mary." Father Michael Gaitley, MIC, director of the Association of Marian Helpers, and Immaculee Illibagiza, a Rwandan genocide survivor, shared how the Blessed Virgin Mary leads us to become better apostles of Divine Mercy in our lives.
