Part 4 - The Essentials of Divine Mercy with Father Chris Alar, MIC

If God's message of Divine Mercy is eternal, why did He appear in 1931 to St. Faustina, an unknown Polish nun, and ask her to remind the world of His mercy?

In this video, Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, director of the Association of Marian Helpers, recounts the history of the devotion of Divine Mercy, explaining the five elements of the devotion and what they can do for our spiritual lives:

What Did She Have to Say?

When Our Lady appeared to Auguste Arnaud in Saint-Bauzille-de-la-Sylve, France, she had a very specific message that can be heeded by all of us. Father Joe Roesch, MIC, shares this message with us inside the Shrine of Our Lady of Sunday in the southeast of France.

Part 3 - The Essentials of Divine Mercy with Father Chris Alar, MIC

To receive God's mercy, we need to completely trust in Jesus, the Person. But how do we do that when we feel like God has let us down or when we're experiencing difficulty?

In this video, Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, director of the Association of Marian Helpers, reminds us that feelings aren't the ultimate barometer of reality. He encourages us to have hope that when we make acts of trust in the Lord - whether we feel like we trust him or not - He will lead us according to His plan, which will ultimately fulfill the desires of our hearts.
