Big Wheels Keep on Turning

EDITOR'S NOTE: Dave and Joan Maroney, the husband-and-wife team better know as Mother of Mercy Messengers (MOMM), an apostolate of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception, are back home in Texas doing a little administrative housekeeping and preparing their spring tour. The Maroneys, who travel the country to spread the message of The Divine Mercy, send us the following the dispatch:

Last fall we had a tire blow out a few days after we began our trek east for our Mother of Mercy Messengers (MOMM) tour.

In nearly 10 years of traveling the country giving our multimedia presentations that go to the heart of The Divine Mercy message, here's something that has never happened before: We had major technical difficulties!

Yep, on July 25 our "multimedia" capabilities went dead. It may sound like a fiasco, but just wait.

With a Special Presentation, Marians Thank Volunteers

At the spiritual home of Divine Mercy in North America, Mother of Mercy Messengers brought a special group of people to the heart of the Divine Mercy message.

The occasion was a "Volunteer Retreat Day" on Saturday, June 19, at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy, in Stockbridge, Mass. The special day, hosted by the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception, honored and gave thanks to the more than 550 volunteers who tended to the physical and spiritual needs of more than 18,000 pilgrims during the annual Divine Mercy Sunday Weekend on April 10-11.
