Pope Benedict XVI encouraged this World Congress on mercy. The Holy Father will open the Mercy Congress with Holy Mass at St. Peter's Square.

World Apostolic Congress on Mercy
April 2 – 6, 2008

The Catholic Church, under the direction of Pope Benedict XVI, will hold the first World Apostolic Congress on Mercy in Rome on April 2-6, 2008.

Through this World Congress, the Church hopes to energize, educate and enable attendees to return to their native countries and initiate or improve upon the spreading of the message of Divine Mercy.

To attend the World Congress in Rome, you must register.

Upon arrival, you will be issued an official identification badge to admit you into the special seating for the Masses, general sessions, and language specific activities.

Association of Marian Helpers Mercy Congress Pilgrimage

Accomodations and Registration at the Official Mercy Congress Site

Double and single rooms will be available at a 3-star hotel and a religious institute. (See official Mercy Congress site for details) Payment, in full, due by March 31, 2008.

Note: With this option, you must arrange travel to and from Rome, and transportation within the city.

Registration for Mercy Congress still required

If you arrange your own travel and accomodations, you still must register at the official website to attend the Mercy Congress. You will also need transportation to the places for daily events.

Individuals and groups may register for the Mercy Congress on the official website. Registration is €50 or approximately $75 USD, payable upon registration.
