Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, is a priest with the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception. Father Chris wrote and produced the popular “Divine Mercy 101” and “Explaining the Faith” DVD series and is the author of the bestselling books After Suicide: There’s Hope for Them and for You, as well as Understanding Divine Mercy. He is host of the EWTN show Living Divine Mercy, which airs on Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m. ET. He serves as “Fr. Joseph, MIC,” the director of the Association of Marian Helpers and is the head of Marian Press, located on the grounds of the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
Teresa Tomeo is an author, syndicated Catholic talk show host, and motivational speaker with more than 30 years of experience in TV, radio, and newspaper, 20 of which were as a secular reporter/anchor in the Detroit market. In the year 2000, Teresa left the secular media to start her own speaking and communications company, Teresa Tomeo Communications, LLC. Her weekday morning radio program, Catholic Connection, is co-produced by Ave Maria Radio in Ann Arbor, Michigan and the EWTN Global Catholic Radio Network. It is heard on over 500 Catholic radio stations worldwide and on the Sirius Satellite Network. Teresa appears frequently on the EWTN Global Catholic Television Network, and co-hosts the EWTN television series, The Catholic View for Women. She is also a correspondent for EWTN News In Depth. As a deacon’s wife, Teresa also writes a column for Our Sunday Visitor’s The Deacon magazine. In 2019, she opened her own Italy travel consultation company, T’s Italy (TravelItalyExpert.com). Teresa has written more than 10 books, is an international speaker, where she addresses media awareness and activism, as well as sharing her reversion to the Catholic Church. She resides in Southeastern Michigan with her husband, Deacon Dominick Pastore. They travel the world giving marriage and diaconate couples’ retreats.
Stephen K. Ray was raised in a devout and loving Baptist family. His father was a deacon and Bible teacher, and Stephen was very involved in the Baptist Church as a teacher of Biblical studies. After an in-depth study of the writings of the Church Fathers, both Steve and his wife Janet converted to the Catholic Church. He is the host of the popular, award- winning film series on salvation history, The Footprints of God. Steve is also the author of the best-selling books Crossing the Tiber, and St. John’s Gospel.
Kelly Wahlquist is the founder of the national women’s ministry WINE: Women In the New Evangelization and the Director for the Archbishop Flynn Catechetical Institute in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. She is the author of Created to Relate: God’s Design for Peace & Joy, and creator and editor of Walk in Her Sandals: Experiencing the Passion of Christ through the Eyes of Women; Gaze Upon Jesus: Experiencing Christ’s Childhood through the Eyes of Women; and Called by Name: 365 Daily Devotions for Catholic Women. Through WINE, she is the publisher of The Mother of Jesus is Wonderfully Real, a children’s book written for kids of all ages.
Fr. Bill Quinlivan is a priest of the Diocese of Buffalo for 27 years. He is pastor of St. Martin of Tours and St. Thomas Aquinas parishes, as well as a Priest Associate of St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy. He has recorded 10 CDs of original music including MercySongs/MercyPrayers and is currently finishing a new book due this Fall: The Gaze, the Rays, the Ways and the Praise of Divine Mercy.

Ample parking is available behind the Shrine and is accessible off of South Park Avenue (Rte. 62).
The Basilica is wheelchair accessible. Lifts are available. The cafeterias are also handicapped accessible.
