Thaddaeus Lancton, MIC, as they talk about “Keeping It Marian,” showing how we can best imitate Our Lady and her virtues amid the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, meditating on the Word of God and pondering it in our hearts. 90 Days for the Souls in Purgatory with Fr. Thaddaeus Lancton, MIC

Join Fr. Thaddaeus Lancton, MIC,  as he walks us through 90 different groups of Holy Souls in Purgatory in need of our intercessory prayers and sacrifices. Since their founding by St. Stanislaus Papczynski in 1670, the Marian Fathers have had a charism of praying and offering suffrages for the faithful departed. By dividing the souls into ninety groups, based on their distinct sins or vices, we methodically intercede and so help set the captives free from Purgatory. If you are interested in learning more about praying for the Holy Souls in Purgatory, or to learn more about the Holy Souls Sodality, visit: PrayforSouls.org.

The Journal of Blessed George Matulaitis with Fr. Joe Roesch

Join Fr. Joe Roesch, MIC, as he reads from the journal of Blessed George Matulaitis-Matulewicz (1871-1927), the “Renovator” of the Congregation of Marian Fathers. As both a bishop and archbishop, Blessed George was recognized for his work as an apostle of unity during tumultuous times in his native Lithuania. Throughout his life, he launched important initiatives that mobilized the laity for the greater good of the Church. And without Blessed George, there would be no Marian Congregation today. You can follow along with Fr. Roesch by viewing the flipbook.

The Mystical Temple of God with Fr. Joe Roesch

Join Fr. Joe Roesch, MIC, as he reads "The Mystical Temple of God" by St. Stanislaus of Jesus and Mary Papczyński (1631-1701), priest and founder of the Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Saint Stanislaus left no doubt as to what purpose and to whom this work, which he had written and published in Krakow, Poland, in 1675, was to serve. The information provided on the title page makes it clear: “This work is beneficial for people of all walks of life, and it is useful especially for sermons at the consecration of a church.” It's clear St. Stanislaus offers his work to everyone as a textbook of spirituality. Visit TheDivineMercy.org/Mystical to download the text of "The Mystical Temple of God."

The Imitation of Christ with Fr. Joe Roesch

Jesus said, "Whoever wishes to come after Me, must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me" (Matthew 16:24). This is what Christians have been trying to do for centuries: to become like Christ. The old expression was "imitating Christ"; now we say, "following Christ," walking in His footsteps, to become like Him. Join Fr. Joe Roesch, MIC, as he reads the spiritual classic, "The Imitation of Christ," from beginning to end. It was written in the 1400s, yet sounds like it was written yesterday. Translated into languages all over the world, it is said to be the most well-read book in the world next to the Bible. "The Imitation of Christ" was read and beloved by many of the saints, and offers great spiritual advice for every age. Father Roesch is reading the translation by Aloysius Croft and Harold Bolton, available in a PDF download from CatholicPlanet.com.
