Consecrate Yourselves as Pope Francis Consecrates the World!

Want to consecrate yourself to Jesus through Mary on the same day the Pope consecrates the world to the Immaculate Heart? Then get ready, because your 33-day preparation needs to begin on Sept. 10!

Pope Francis will consecrate the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Oct. 13, the anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima in Portugal. On Oct. 13, in 1917, around 70,000 people were present to watch the sun dance in the sky, change colors, and appear to fall to the earth before returning to its place in the heavens. The ground, which had been soaked with two weeks' worth of rain, was completely dry at the end of the miracle.

Those extraordinary events marked the end of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to three shepherd children and the start of the belief of many in her message of prayer for peace and penance for sins. During the October apparition, Our Lady also said, "God wants to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If you do what I tell you, many souls will be saved, and there will be peace. ... I shall come to the world to ask that Russia be consecrated to my Immaculate Heart, and I shall ask that on the First Saturday of every month Communions of reparation be made in atonement for the sins of the world."

According to Sr. Lucia Santos, OCD, one of the three visionaries, Pope John Paul II accomplished the consecration of Russia on March 25, 1984, in union with all the bishops of the world. But as anyone can see from the state of the world, we are a long way from finishing spreading devotion to Mary's Immaculate Heart.

So join your fellow HAPP participants and the Holy Father in entrusting yourselves to Jesus through Mary on Oct. 13. Start your journey of 33 Days to Morning Glory on Sept. 10, and Our Lady of Fatima, the Lady with the Immaculate Heart, will bless you with special graces for uniting your consecration with that of the Holy Father.

We also recommend all HAPP members renew their consecrations on Oct. 13, uniting their rededication in prayer with the Pope's consecration of the entire world to Jesus through Mary.

Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly, and I offer You the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifferences by which He is offended. And by the infinite merits of His most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners. - Prayer taught to the Fatima visionaries by the Angel of Peace
