Members traveled to India in February 1999 and met with Bishop M. John of the Diocese of Eluru, India. He hopes to build a large Shrine to The Divine Mercy and Our Lady of Fatima.

On the outskirts of the grounds he has already constructed the shell of a medical clinic for the poor. A container of medical supplies and equipment, religious articles, and clothing was sent in May 1999 and a second container more recently consisting primarily of clothing and basic medical supplies.

The Message of Divine Mercy is being propagated in India. There is much activity in fervor in Kerala, Bombay, Goa, and Calcutta. The multiple dialects make things more difficult, but Eucharistic Apostles hope to become much more active in India, especially in Kerala and Bombay, as time progresses. There are numerous worthwhile projects that we hope to become involved with in India, including the Shrine in Eluru, various medical clinics and orphanages, and hospitals that deal with the abject poor.
