Ecuador

The translation to Spanish of the formation manual for the groups is nearly complete. Interest in materials has been expressed from Bishops in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Nicaragua, Honduras, Peru, and Ecuador. Once available, plans are to get small faith groups formed throughout Central and South America.

In spite of lack of materials, one group has formed in Los Bancos, Ecuador, under the guidance of Father Des Dalton and the blessing of Bishop Stehle of Santo Domingo. A container of medical supplies and computers were sent for the poor to Guayaquil, and hopes are to form groups in Guayaquil and especially in the notorious slums of Guasmo.
