A new assignment announced for Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC

Last summer, Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC, announced publicly that he was taking a pause from his leadership role in the Marian Missionaries of Divine Mercy (MMDM) to prayerfully discern the next chapter in his priestly ministry.

Today, the Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception is pleased to announce that Fr. Gaitley will be joining our Marian ministry team in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The vibrant parish communities there will be well served by Fr. Gaitley’s preaching, compassion, and zeal for evangelization.

We congratulate Fr. Gaitley for his fruitful service at MMDM. Over the course of eight years, hundreds of pilgrims have attended retreats and enjoyed hospitality; several men have been called to the priesthood; and the poor and needy in the area have been accompanied and consoled. MMDM represented Divine Mercy in action.

The Congregation of Marian Fathers, which is not affiliated with MMDM, wishes the MMDM and its Board of Directors success in its future operations.
