St. Teresa of Ávila

Saint Teresa of Ávila, a Carmelite nun and Spanish mystic, was a prominent figure in the renewal of monastic and spiritual life, helping to reform the Carmelite order and widely known for her work, The Interior Castle. Her feast day is celebrated on October 15.
